Remembering Milli

Monday May 10^th is one year since Milli died. We would like to gather together to spend time celebrating her and sharing together: thoughts, food, ideas for commemorating her.

Our suggestion is that we meet at Torakina beach Brunswick Heads in the picnic area at one of the tables at 10 am and have a sharing circle followed by a shared morning tea and a swim. If there is torrential rain then we will meet at Gondwana hall on the same day at 1.30pm with the same format and a shared afternoon tea. (The hall is not available in the morning).

If you have a suggestion for some activity after what has been planned, which you would like to hold the space for, please feel free to organise it and let Wendy on wr@hotkey.net.au know of your intention and she will forward it to the various email lists she is trying to gather. If you know of someone who may like to receive this, please forward it to them.

Please arrive at 10am for a 10.30 circle and bring a plate for morning tea. If you have a photo or Milli inspired object, please bring it for a temporary altar in the middle of the circle.

Nadia, who was inspired to paint the bridge in rainbow colours last year would like to freshen it up. She still has paint and would like to meet others at 3.30pm on Sat May 8^th to do this. Please ring her on 66844771 if you would like to join her.

You are invited to come help scatter her ashes on that day, followed by

a tree planting and naming of Milli Grove at Gondwana Sanctuary.

If you would like to stay afterwards for a shared lunch and connection time

at Gondwana Hall, please bring food to share. After that we will have a

‘girlie dress up session’ in Milli’s clothes in the spirit of fun and play of our

wonderful Milli.

We will be meeting at 11am at the far right end of Watego’s Beach.
